Easy Care Finish Resin

 

NFD is a concentrated resin for easy-care finishing of textiles composed of cellulosic fibres and their blends with synthetic fibres.

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES

l  Appearance: light yellow, transparent and low viscous liquid

l  pH value: 4.0-5.0

l  Content:55±1%

l  Solubility: can be mixed with water in any proportion

FEATURES

Ø  Resin NFD, in combination with catalyst CS-200 , produces particularly low formaldehyde finishing effects.

Ø  When correctly applied Resin NFD, meets all the requirement of consumer label such as Eco-Tex Standard 100 for textiles near to the skin(<75ppm formaldehyde on the goods

Ø  High resistance to hydrolysis and low chlorine effect.

 APPLICATIONS

   Resin NFD is applied by padding at room temperature. The liquor pickup is 60-90%, depending on the types of goods.

   Amounts used (based on quantity of resin NFD)  25-30%  CreaCata CS-200 (13g/l≤≤50 g/l)

Notice for Application of Resin NFD

1 Mercerization and liquid ammonia treatment are the important steps in non-iron finishing, which is helpful to resin penetrating into fibre and to improve the grade of DP of fabric.

2 Adding demanded water into a container and stirring it when preparing working liquid of resin, and then adding resin, protective agent, softener, catalyst, penetrating agent and acid successively. Working liquid should be prepared by workers on duty and the storage time of prepared working liquid should not be last over one day. It should be stirred uniformly before using if it has stored for a long time.

3 It is suggested to adjust pH value of surface of fabric to be finished into weak acidic range due to the need of acidic catalysis of resin reaction. The optimum of non-iron and the lowest content of formaldehyde on the surface of fabric need fabric neutralized completely and cured appropriately.

4The fabric to be finished should has good instantaneous hydrophilicity so that working liquid can penetrate into it well. Pre-dry of fabric is non-contacted ways with oven at low temperature, such as hot wind or dry using far infrared heating, in avoid of forming of resin on the surface of fabric. The time of curing should be sufficient in order to obtain optimal effect of cross-linking.

5It is inevitable to affect the strength of fabric after resin finishing, even shade, color fastness, whiteness, odor and hand feeling of fabric. It is necessary to obtain the initial specification of semi-finished product in avoid of unnecessary losses according the requirement of clients. It is suggested that the customers do whole process tests and detection according to the production condition.

Please store at 5-35avoid freezing and exposure to the sun. Its shelf life is 12 months.
